Butterfly, Walleye, and Teepee Breathing are tools to practice self-identification of needs and regulation when experiencing overwhelming emotions through familiar symbols. This resource comes from Deva Little-Moustache Gordon, Piikani First Nation ([devalmgn@gmail.com](mailto:devalmgn@gmail.com)). It was translated by Frances Visitor from Wemindji, Quebec, into a Northern dialect of Cree.
