Young Children
- Adapting the ACHWM to reflect the voices of Indigenous children ages 4–7.
- Using expert review, child testing, and caregiver input to refine items.
- Goal: a culturally grounded tool for young children; now working with 2nd community to complete cognitive debriefing.
Older Youth
- Adapting the ACHWM for Indigenous older youth (19–29) to reflect their experiences.
- Using expert review, talking circles, and cognitive debriefing to refine items and concepts.
- Goal: a culturally grounded tool built with and for Indigenous youth; we’re in Step II.
Dä̀nch’ea
- Adapting the ACHWM with the Yukon First Nations School Board.
- Using expert review, learner expertise, and validation to build a school-ready tool that supports immediate, strength‑based care.
- Goal: a culturally grounded tool for Yukon learners. Currently at the validation stage.
