ACHWM is available to communities and not-for-profit agencies focused on promoting the health and well-being of Indigenous children.

There is no licensing fee for using ACHWM. Community costs include staff time and equipment (tablets and protective cases).

The ACHWM has versions tailored to First Nations, Métis, and Inuit children, as well as to children in care (Family Services-friendly language).  All versions are available in French and English.

Population health assessment, health screening, and programs evaluation. It generates an overall wellness score and scores for physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual health that can be used to connect children with support services.

The ACHWM Member portal contains detailed  online training to help you and your community learn how to implement the measure.

ACHWM offers benefits such as conversation starters, promoting positive health discussions, and recording progress from intake to follow-up. It also includes a speak-aloud function for increased accessibility.

The ACHWM is a tool that helps organizations support Indigenous children and youth. The agreement helps each organization understand their options to access and control their data and their responsibilities to support their children.

Once a child completes the survey, an individual report is generated and available to local health workers. Automated group reports can be downloaded that summarize aggregated, group results.
